[7/2/21] Steamboat Classic Pickleball Tournament next week!

Although it's too late to register to play as this popular tournament already hit its capacity of 300 players several weeks ago, everyone is invited to come watch from Wednesday, July 7 through Sunday, July 11! The world #1 and #4 players will be holding clinics and players are coming from 29 states.
Here's the general schedule and players can see the start times for each group here:
Wed 7/7, 10:30am-1:30pm – Ben Johns (#1 player in the world) and Dekel Bar (#4 player in the world) will be holding an Advanced (4.0+) Clinic
Thu 7/8, 9am-12pm (3.0+) and 1-4pm (3.5+) – Ben Johns and Dekel Bar will be holding two more clinics
Fri 7/9, 8am-finish – Men's and Women's Singles
Sat 7/10, 7am-finish – Mixed Doubles
Sun 7/11, 7am-finish – Men's and Women's Doubles
Can you help out for a few hours?
The success of the tournament relies on volunteers to welcome players, assist the Operations Director, monitor the courts, and assist with presenting medals. Please consider representing Steamboat hospitality by volunteering a few hours! Yep, you'll get snacks, food, beverages, gift bags, and tournament shirts depending on your shift(s). Parking Alert
It'll be a busy weekend for Steamboat next week – the Hot Air Balloon Rodeo, a rugby tournament next door, Strings' Garden Tour, Art in the Park. Please, please, try to carpool, bike, or take the free bus as parking legally will be very challenging.
