[12/3/21] Steamboat Pilot Spotlights Pickleball in Middle School

Thanks to funding raised by the Steamboat Springs Pickleball Association (SSPA), Marcy and Sean Pummill have taken pickleball to Steamboat Middle School! Together, they're teaching sixth, seventh and eighth graders during PE class with a goal of introducing them to a sport they can play with friends and family of all ages. It's really inspiring to see people sharing their opinions and offering their assistance to others by participating in this type of fundraiser. Pickleball is more than a sport to me; it's also an opportunity for me to meet new people who want to help others.
