[1/2/21] The Conway's business merges with CS4L

ICYMI, here's Loretta's article from the 1/1/21 Steamboat Tennis & Pickleball eNewsletter –

BREAKING NEWS! Effective today, Bill and I have merged our business into Court Sports 4 Life, where I will serve as the Executive Director and Bill as the Director of Operations. This is both exciting … and boring! Exciting because, as a non-profit, CS4L can operate and fundraise with significant tax advantages to meet our charitable mission:

To enrich the lives of Steamboat Springs, Colorado area residents and visitors of all ages, abilities, and socio-economic groups through pickleball and tennis. We do this by providing premier tennis and pickleball facilities; robust recreational and training programs; and innovative engagement of underserved families, adaptive athletes seniors, and other social cohorts. And why boring? Because to you, not much will change. You’ll see the same people doing the same things as they’ve always done. You’ll still use the Club Automation system to make reservations online when capacity improves and pay automatically by credit card (if you chose to keep one on file). You’ll still pay your pro (now including Bill) directly for private lessons. One new benefit to you, though, is that pre-paid fees that were credited to your account when the pandemic caused us to cancel programs can now be converted to tax-deductible donations for 2021! If this applies to you, we’ll be contacting you but please give us a little time as we work through the many changes we need behind the scenes.

What hasn’t changed is Bill’s and my commitment to you, to the Steamboat Tennis & Pickleball Center, and to Steamboat. Thank you for your support and patronage – aren’t we fortunate to have such a beautiful facility in such a picturesque environment where we can safely play tennis and pickleball with family and friends? Happy New Year to all! Loretta Conway Executive Director, Court Sports 4 Life dba Steamboat Tennis & Pickleball
